  • New to Yaking

I'm new to this whole Kayaking thing and was told about this site by a guy at bass pro shop. I prob have a thousand questions I could ask all of you guys but I'll just keep it simple for now.

I live in Delaware and don't mind traveling a lil bit but still not sure what I can and can't do in in this thing yet. Have only really had it out once but def exceeded my expectations so far and had a blast. Anyone have any good places to go up north? I put in at Northeast park in cecil county a couple days ago just to get out and give it a try but i'm looking to get out a lil farther then that.

No one I know really has a kayak so I'm also looking to see where more people go out of/to so I can feel a lil safer until I get used to it.

Any info or recommendations would be awesome!!

    Thanks!!!

Welcome from a PA kayaker! What kind of boat do you have and what do you like to fish for?

        Thanks!!
I just got the pro angler 14. I'm open to any kind of fishing really. I'd rather get out and catch some stripers and bigger fish like that but I'll be happy catching catfish, bass, perch all day long. I just want to get out on the water. Haven't been able to get out much last couple of years so I need to make up for lost time

What kayak do you have? What kind of water/fishing (salt/tidal or fresh) are you going to focus on?

You "can" fish any water you have access to for anything that swims. You "can't" pull a water skier...most likely.

Thanks, I was looking at maybe going to becks or something like that but not sure where to really go. Havent had the chance to research it a whole lot.

I was at lunch on my phone, couldn't see your sig line. The PA should be able to handle any water you can launch it in. Which BPS did you get the referral from?
