Mike and I finally got to get the kayaks wet for the second time ths year. We launched from Hemmingways on the eastern shore and set out to troll the the Bay Bridge. Because of the MSSA Tourney, there were quite a number of boats fishing, despite the rain. Within an hour, we had already had a couple dinks landed, trolling tandem rigs. Mike had a 30″ plus fish, but the main line snapped at the swivel right next to the boat. Tie a better knot next time!! I ended up with a 24″, 29″ and 2 14″ dinks that hit while my lines where up, literally on the surface, 5 feet away from my boat, on my way back in. Got a few sweet pics that I hope to put up soon on paddles and fins gallery.
