Here’s a simple, durable, and cheap way to measure fish on the yak. It’s a tailors/seamstress measuring tape. This one is made of plastic so it wont rust and cost less than a dollar at Michaels. There are also sticker fish rulers which can be stuck on the side of the kayak or on the paddle.
