  • Eastern Shore Ponds

    Just checking...

    I've seen no reports.

Any visits to Eastern Shore ponds recently -- Wye Mills, Unicorn?

I'm curious about their condition, especially vegetation and algae levels.

    Many thanks,

        johnk,

        Thank you very much.

A little early for the algae, I think. But it has been a strange spring weather-wise.

I have been to Wye Mills twice on my kayak. Caught a few decent size bass, a lot of crappie (very small) & a few Blue Gill. Decent fishing conditions. More vegitation than normal on the bottom. Caught fish in spinner baits and crank baits.
