Decided to get in a few hours of fishing in this afternoon at Tridelphia. Weather looked cloudy with patches of sunshine. Didn't know if it was going to start raining again or not but it turned out to be pretty nice later on. I caught my first walleye. Woohhooo!

Thanks. I'm going to drag some of spinner/worm harnesses with that color tomorrow.

Good luck. Are you going to Tridelphia? I might go later in the afternoon possibly.

Yeah, going to put in at the Greenbridge ramp. Shooting for a morning launch...depending on what time my daughter is ready to go.

Great Job Paul! They are just below Specks and Reds on my "to do" list.

Best eatin' fish in fresh water, IMHO. That one needs to get a little bigger before it can get in the frying pan, 15" minimum in MD.

I had to look up the size limit when I caught him, I wasn't expecting a walleye. I'll have to get a keeper next time to taste.

I got my first Maryland walleye today. 14 1/2"...just a little too small. Picture later.

Awesome! Congrats. Did you catch it on the worm rig you made? How deep was the water when you caught it?
