  • Croakers in Jugs Bay?

I just heard from a coworkers husband who went to Jugs Bay and caught croakers, spots, and a yellow perch. I did not know that they would be there yet. Unfortunately, they were on the small side, nothing to keep, but they are moving in. He said that they bit on night crawlers. They did not touch the bloodworms... odd....

In my 17 years of fishing these waters i have never seen a croaker or spot. Ive never known of them up this far either. Not saying its impossible but if tgere was any I dont thing they are in numbers . Maybe a stray if anything.

Hmm does seem a bit early... I might have to check out my croaker spot sooner than I thought!!

Could be the same thing I thought was a croaker? Creek chub, they croaked also and really like nightcrawlers. I caught them along with yellow perch.
