My guess is you're going to tog around the Inner Wall. The wind forecast is WNW, and if that's true, it'll just about align with the Inner Wall. In other words, windy on both sides. Hope it's not true. On the other hand, you'd be better protected on the east side of the Outer Wall. Good luck!

The wind wasn't too bad, but the bite was. I catch nothing

Well that's encouraging. I just finished getting ready. Leaving first thing in the AM. Here's to hoping the bite turns on tomorrow.

Did you fish both ends of the Inner Wall? How about the Outer Wall?

As far as murkiness is concerned, I never heard tog bites are dependent on water clarity.

                  what you use for bait?

Fishing was terrible and probably done there for the season.

didn't mean to offend. I was just trying to see if the bite was off even while using the same bait as I did. Just saying. Shady had asked earlier for my take on things so I was trying to see how things ended up the way it did. I pulled out to the wall last saturday as people were pulling out and they claimed that bites were slow, but when I got out there was a decent amount of action. Like I said... just comparing and contrasting. No hard feelings.

Don't know why anyone would be offended....? I used shrimp and green crab. I fished mainly all along the south side of the inside wall. The wind was too much to venture any further.

I still have some spots to check out over there for togs. Season closes 12 May, so I hope to go out soon. Don't know when.
