Rats I wanted to get yesterday as well but didn't have the van to take the yak there. Were you guys fishing with minnows?

Also where were you at the docks or at the bridge?

            Side Note:

Yellow Perch were not to be found. We tried for an hour at several normally productive locations with nothing to show for our efforts on that front. Good thing we can count on the crappie!

After months of cloudy muddy conditions the water is finally getting cleaned up. Needless to say it was the best i have seen in months.

Meado is definitely the guy to hook with if you want to catch huge slab down at Occoquan. Thanks for putting me on the fish man.

That's good news! What color lures worked for you this time?

This seems to change every time.. Blue seemed to work on Saturday. The time before that black was the ticket. When the water is clean white/clear/green all work wonders. My recommendation is to buy a bag of every color and change em up until you find the winner selection for the day.

Glad to hear you guys found some nice ones. I'm hoping to make it to the Occoquan a bit later to try for some shad and April snakeheads.
