              tie on a spook Jr in bone color and those specks should get bigger. i use that when I am down there during all parts of the day, and I have caught nothing shorter then 15-16" everytime. Plus its a blast!

                Thanks guys for the well wishes. It has been tough fishing down here. The water quality is very poor for what I would expect for FL but they had a grass kill and an algae bloom.

                Caught another slot red today at 25" on topwater.... I'm ready to catch more than one a day though. Putting in too much work and time for one good fish.

                      I am leaving next Thursdsay for the Keys, I will be with the family but hope to get away for some fishing.

                            Right on, we will be staying at Hawks Cay on Duck Key this time. Not sure I will be able to take a trip but hope to fish from land in some of the mangroves.
