  • Popped the cherry!

I caught my first snakehead last night, on a live target frog. It was straight power hour as we were also slaying the bass.

Hey Mike - No we went to Leesylvania. KG and I couldnt decide on Duck pond or Lees. The fish are too spread out at Duck so we took our chance and drove down to Lees. The gamble paid off. We literally got there at 7:45 and fished 'til about 9. In one hour we caught about 12 bass. They all averaged at about 2 to 3 lbs but they had some shoulders. They look to be post-spawn b/c they were skinny. Let me know if you want to join. I might be fishing tonight and Sat morning.

Congrats. How big is it? Did you catch it from shore?

Nice. I wanted to show Joe the other spot. We're heading out soon, but depending on how it goes we may relocate.

Maybe we should have a Cherry Popping Thread for SH That way, when one of us pop our cherry, we can post in there.
