There are a lot of fat fish out there right now, I know someone's gonna beat this! I need to use the boga more but I'm always afraid of loosing it in the kayak...

Got two fat ones tonight, 28" & 28.5", trolling a yum money minnow and a clouser in front of it. I got 9 total, 17-28.5 on the minnow and 28" & 25" on the teaser. I was surprised!

I listened to you Dogfish! Trolling a channel edge and bouncing in between channel markers diagonal to the current... I can't go as fast as you so I was going T&W speed which is about .7-1.2 mph. Didn't have the depthfinder so that's about the only information I can give!

when you say clouser teaser do you mean a deep minnow? ive never heard of anyone doing that. how do you rig it just like you would a tandem nymph rig fly fishing? and what color was the money minnow hologram shad?

i was wondering if any of you guys tossed flys out there. i always have my 7wt on me when im on my kayak. schoolies and big perch are blast on that rod.

You should talk to mmanolis about the fly fishing for perch. He has been getting into that sort of thing. He has a video on You Tube of his fly fishing and UL fishing for perch.

I made the "teaser"... It's just a clouser minnow, this one was pink and white with purple sparkle and about 3.5". I tied it in a dropper loop on my casting rod. I didn't feel like re-tying so I just trolled it. The money minnow was the white one.
