  • Finding myself at CHSP

So my wife really wants to go camping at CHSP next weekend. Since I have been fishing so much lately, we haven't had a lot of time together, so I can't say no. That doesn't mean I can't take my kayak though.

I am looking for any info regarding what I might be able to target while I am there. I am not really interested in dropping rigs at the walls for togs, etc. I want to go with someone who knows the ropes for this fishery for my first time

Are there good rockfish areas this time of year? I am even open to exploring surf.

Any info suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think the only game in town may be tog and that may even be done.
Possibility of Striper at IRI casting from shore at night I guess?

Not interested in tog?!? That's probably the only game in town like shady said. Never really ran into any bass there and the flounder have been gone for a while.
